Pray with Yadkinville UMC

In 2021 our Sunday worship service was based around the Psalms, as part of that we prayed the Psalm for the upcoming Sunday together every week with The Yadkin Psalter. At the end of the year we kept going, and The Yadkin Psalter became The Yadkin Lectio and added The Yadkin Examen.

  • The Yadkin Lectio

    New episodes come out each Wednesday and include a reading for the upcoming Sunday's scripture lesson as well as prompts for praying the the scripture with Lectio Divina.

  • The Yadkin Examen

    New episodes come out each Monday and include a brief excerpt from Sunday's sermon (no more than 5min) with questions about the sermon and scripture and prompts to engage in the Examen.


    The Examen is a method of reviewing your day and week in the presence of God.
