  • Yadkinville United Methodist Church is seeking a dynamic and passionate Director of Traditional Music to lead our music ministry as we worship, experiment, and prayerfully grow as disciples of Jesus Christ. Yadkinville United Methodist Church is a warm and loving congregation open to all people.

    As the Director of Traditional Music, you’ll be responsible for leading our choir, selecting music for the traditional service, participating in the planning of Sunday worship and other special services through out the year. We know that one of the ways people connect to God through worship is the music, and we are looking for someone who can help the congregation grow in understanding the Christian faith through music and music’s role in the faith, develop and strengthen their relationship with God, and become better equipped for daily living as faithful Christian disciples.

  • Yadkinville United Methodist Church is seeking a dynamic and passionate Organist/ Accompanist to be the primary instrumentalist for our traditional music ministry as we worship, experiment, and prayerfully grow as disciples of Jesus Christ. Yadkinville United Methodist Church is a warm and loving congregation open to all people.

    As the Organist/Accompanist you’ll be responsible for providing organ and piano accompaniment for scheduled worship services and other activities in support of the music ministry of the church. This year-round position is part time. The work is done cooperatively with the Director of Traditional Music.

    Yadkinville UMC has a 1989 W. Zimmer & Sons Two Manual Pipe organ. The organ is regularly serviced and tuned 2-4 times a year.
